Dag's location is also favoured by its proximity to the city of Esztergom, the onetime royal seat of Hungary on the banks of the Danube River, and now as before, the seat of the Cardinal. |

The Roman Catholic church, built in 1826 in the classicist style, is one of the settlements foremost historic buildings. In 1966 a church bell was unearthed within the townships boundaries. Dating back to approx. 1200, it is considered to be the oldest bell in Hungary. |

The area's preferred tavern in Dag is the Szomjas Boszorkany (Thirsty Witch), a place where, upon entering, the past is called to mind. The tavern's unique furnishings lure, in a curious way, those who appreciate ancient objects. |
